I've been curious about OpenDoc's strategy for inter-part/task communication on non-Mac platforms... could someone please elaborate more on Gregs' points i.e. how will an OpenDoc part editor be expected to communicate with other parts and tasks; simply through proprietary interfaces?
What will happen with the following classes on Windows:
OpenDoc:
- ODMessageInterface
- ODNameResolver
- ODSemanticInterface
- ODDesc
- ODOSLToken
- ODObjectSpec
- ODAddressDesc
- ODDescList
- ODRecord
- ODAppleEvent
OpenDoc utilities:
- ODCPlusSemanticInterface
- SIHelperAbs
- SIHelper

"MacApp has excellent support for Apple Events. I know the guy that did the
MacApp OSA support. I like him. So does my fiance. As a matter of fact,
she's marrying him next weekend."
I'm sorry to hear about that, Greg. You Apple guys seem to have this open architecture thing worked out eh?!
